About Myself
My name is Norman Bae. I am currently a bioengineering undergraduate at UC Berkeley. Over the course of my college experience, I have done research in systems biology and biophotonics. My current academic interests are in drug delivery and therapeutics such as developing skin grafts and nerve conduit channels. I also enjoy cafe hopping, reading and having a good time with friends. I also hope to work in the biotechnology industry after graduation and possibly start up a company in the future.

Hi Norman! Great video! The sound quality is very clear. I really like your reason for choosing bioengineering! Do you know what area in the biotech industry you would want your potential start up company to be in? I think that drug delivery and therapeutics is extremely important. I'm glad you are taking this class- it will be especially important when you invent a new medical device!

Where are you from originally in Socal? I would say I like the class too because we get to discuss about patents and how things go. Also, the apple and korean company debate is so hilarious to listen to on the web. Hope to see you in class.
Norman, your academic interests – especially nerve conduction – sound like they'll be very useful in finding various cures in the medical field. I wish you the best of luck with starting your own company in the future. Look forward to hearing your ideas going forward!
